A new fund mints 196,000 HNT a day.
HNT runs the Helium wireless network: 193.59M coins circulate, all unlocked. A new fund mint now dwarfs the halving schedule.
Sell pressure. Since Aug 6 2026 a voted fund mints 196,000 HNT a day for Nova Labs: 11.56M in 90 days, on top of 2.56M of network rewards.
Buy pressure. Data use burned 2.79M HNT, but the burn faded after a big carrier left on Aug 31.
Net. Net, supply grew about 5.85% in 90 days and is on track for about 9.82% next.
Hotspots and stakers are paid in new HNT every day. The halving schedule pays 20,548 HNT a day (7.5M a year since Aug 1 2025; the next cut is Aug 1 2027), and the network also re-mints up to 1,644 HNT a day of what was burned. From Jul 20 to Aug 28 2026 an extra 558,188 HNT was minted to keep hotspot pay at its floor; none since. Total for the 90 days: 2,555,449 HNT. About 2.00M is expected next.
Nothing vests. HNT had no pre-mine: every coin was mined into existence since 2019, the early founder and investor share was paid out of mining long ago, and circulating supply equals total supply.
Tracked team-held HNT: Nova Labs' new-fund wallet (774,200 HNT now; it has passed on 10.84M of the 11.61M it received since Aug 6 2026), a Nova treasury wallet (1.54M), Nova's data-credit wallet (180,720), the council wallet (2,450), and the two network treasuries that back the old MOBILE and IOT tokens (5.29M and 2.28M). All of it already counts as circulating, so moving or selling it adds nothing new here.
No estate or trustee pays HNT out. Coins locked for voting (veHNT) still count as circulating, so locks ending add nothing new.
A holder vote in July 2026 (HIP-149) added a second mint: 196,000 HNT a day since Aug 6 2026 — 193,550 to a Nova Labs multisig for operations and growth, 2,450 to five elected council members. It runs flat until Jul 31 2027, then shrinks to zero by Jul 2029: about 141M HNT in all. 11.56M was minted in this window; 17.64M is due in the next 90 days. Nova pledged to prefer private sales with lockups.
No buyback runs. Nova Labs stopped buying and burning HNT with phone-plan revenue in early January 2026, and the phone business itself was sold to Noble Mobile in 2026.
Data on the network is paid in Data Credits, and the only way to make them is to burn HNT. 2,789,946 HNT was burned in the 90 days, about 44,900 a day in July and August. Then T-Mobile traffic left the network on Aug 31 2026 and the price rose, so the burn fell to about 10,500 a day, and to about 335 a day since Sep 23 while the carrier account uses up stored credits. The next 90 days use the September rate: about 633K.
No announcement or on-chain flow this window shows Nova Labs, the Helium Foundation or any treasury buying HNT. Nova's wallets only sent HNT out.
Holders lock HNT for votes and staking rewards, but locked HNT still counts as circulating, so new locks take nothing out of the float.
Two sides: how much people want HNT right now, and how much buying could come later.
This part is based on social media. It shows how hot HNT is right now. A better rank means more people are talking about it.
HNT is a new coin, so this part may not be accurate yet. For now, we give it an average score.
Today, people are talking about HNT for two reasons:
Helium shared a case study on Sep 28 2026: a 23-hospital health system carried more than 145 TB of phone data over its own Wi-Fi in one week, Sep 8 to Sep 14, across 10,654 access points. People ask whether more big sites will follow, and how much of that traffic will turn into burned HNT.
The fund holders voted for in July mints 196,000 HNT a day for Nova Labs. On Sep 30 2026 its wallet sent 1.55M HNT, about $0.78M, onward, and on Oct 1 the coins reached an outside account. People ask how much of the new supply is being sold, and whether the price can hold.

We look at two things, half each: supply and demand. Fewer new coins mean less selling pressure. A meme coin scores 1.5 at most on supply: its team got its coins for free, so no new supply does not make it safe. We also show each coin's age, with a warning when it is younger than 1 year: team and insider coins may still be unlocking and could be sold at any time. Demand looks at how much people want the coin now and how much buying could come later. Hidden Edge is our own story on the coin; it has no score. Full method →
Supply is growing: more HNT reaches the market than is removed. New supply is shown in red. Zero or falling supply is always green, any growth is red.
No. The score brings our research together in one number. It is not a price target or a promise of returns, and nothing here is advice.
One email before each big supply event, and the day our verdict changes. Nothing else. You can watch two coins for free.
