PONS · a launchpad that keeps buying its own token back and destroying it.
Pons is a token launchpad on Robinhood Chain. Its whole 1,000M supply was issued once and cannot be reissued. The counted float is 685.9M PONS.
Sell pressure. Nothing is minted, nothing vests, and no reserve sits outside the counted float, so verified additions are 0.
Buy pressure. Fee revenue buys PONS and destroys it: 314.1M left the float over 90 days, 215.9M of that from the running buyback.
The token contract cannot create a PONS. A full read of its 30 external functions found no mint, no owner, no role and no upgrade path, and the code cannot call or deploy another contract. One single issuance exists in the whole history of the chain, on Jul 13 2026, and the supply figure has read 1,000M PONS at every check since.
The entire 1,000M PONS was delivered in that one issuance and handed straight out. There is no vesting contract, no team tranche and no investor cliff, and none can be added later because no further token can ever be created.
Every PONS that has not been destroyed is already inside the counted float, so nothing sits outside it and no transfer can add to it. The project-side balances we track are the launch contract at 6.1M PONS, a launch fee wallet at 3.1M, the launch pool at 0.1M and the retired burn operator at about 1.0K. The creator's own wallet reads 0. No public evidence of release in window — monitored.
No bankruptcy estate, trustee schedule or court-directed distribution exists for this token.
Trading fees from tokens launched on the platform pay for open-market purchases of PONS, and the tokens bought are sent to an address nobody can spend from. That removed 215.9M PONS over the window. Since Sep 2 2026 the buying has run through an on-chain contract in thousands of small slices; before that an operator wallet did it by hand. The share of fees pointed at this is set by the team and can be changed.
The network charges gas in ETH, not in PONS, so no fee is ever paid in this token and none is destroyed at the network level. Every removal on this page comes from the buyback above.
The project's own market purchases are the buyback already counted above. No separate treasury accumulation was found.
No lockup, staking vault or escrow for PONS was identified. Tokens taken out of the float here are destroyed, not parked.
In the six days after launch, three one-off addresses — the launch pool, a launch fee wallet and the creator's wallet — sent 98.3M PONS to the same unspendable address. The last of these fired on Jul 18 2026 and none has fired since, so this row projects 0 forward.
