New: Coin alerts — I email you when a coin's supply outlook changes

Set it once in your profile. When my researched number moves, you get one short email. No spam, no noise.

Updated Jul 2 2026

What this is

Every coin page on this site carries one number I care about most: the Next-90d inflation — how much new supply I expect that coin to add (or burn) over the next 90 days, based on my own research.

That number only changes when I rebuild a coin's research and the facts have actually moved — a new unlock, a bigger burn, a changed emission schedule.

Coin alerts watch that number for you. You pick the coins you hold or follow. When one of them moves more than 0.5 percentage points, I send you one short email showing the old number, the new number, and a link to the full research. That's the whole feature.

Why this is different from price alerts

Every exchange can ping you when a price moves. Price moves all day — most of it is noise.

This alert fires on something slower and rarer: the supply outlook itself changing. It doesn't drift on its own, and it doesn't follow sentiment. When this number moves, something real changed in how the coin mints or burns. Some weeks you'll get nothing at all — that's by design. No news is also information.

How to set it up (about 30 seconds)

Log in and open your Profilepage. You'll find a new card called Coin alerts:

The Coin alerts card on the profile page: a search box, a list of coins with their Next-90d inflation numbers, and a Save alerts button.

Then three steps:

  • Search a coin (or scroll the list — coins are sorted by market cap).
  • Tickthe coins you want to watch. The number next to each coin is its current Next-90d reading — green means supply is shrinking, red means it's growing.
  • Press Save alerts. Done.
The Coin alerts card with three picked coins numbered 1, 2, 3 and the Save alerts button highlighted.

You can come back and change your coins anytime.

What the email looks like

When a coin you watch moves, you get one email like this — old number, new number, link to the research:

The alert email: two coins listed with their old and new Next-90d inflation numbers and links to the research.

One email per day at most, covering all your coins that moved. And if you ever want out, there's a one-click "Turn off alerts" link in every email.

Everyone gets it — free accounts included. If you hold more than one coin, becoming a member covers your whole portfolio.

One honest note

This alert covers the supply side only. It doesn't know about narrative, sentiment, or price — and a shrinking supply alone doesn't make a coin go up. Treat every alert as a reason to read the research, not a signal to act.
