Crypto buybacks and burns (October 2026)

Pons (PONS) takes the most of its own supply out right now: about 10.05% of its coins in the next 90 days. 33 of the coins we research take coins out with a buyback or a burn. Only 11 of them take out more than they make, so their supply really shrinks.

Oct 18 2026. "Taken out" = coins a buyback or burn removes over the next 90 days, as a share of the coins in circulation today. "Net" = new coins minus coins taken out (green = supply shrinks). Tap a coin for how we got its numbers. The list moves by itself every day.

Does a buyback help the price?

A buyback or burn takes coins away, so the same buyers share fewer coins. It only helps if it takes out more than the new coins coming in, and if people still want the coin. Supply is one half of how we read a coin; demand is the other. This is not a buy or sell call.
