New: Portfolio alerts — an email the day I buy or sell

My portfolios have always been public. Now you don't have to check them — the day I move real money, members get one short email.

Updated Jul 18 2026

What this is

I run four public portfolios on this site with real money, and every trade I make lands on the portfolio page — that has been true from day one.

The missing piece: you had to come back and check. If I sold something on a Tuesday, you might not see it until the weekend.

Portfolio alerts close that gap. On any day I buy or sell in any of the four portfolios, members get one email listing every trade — what I bought or sold, how much, in which portfolio.

One digest per day, maximum. On days I don't trade — most days — you get nothing. Silence means nothing moved. I hate noisy inboxes as much as you do.

What the email looks like

Grouped by portfolio, green for buys, red for sells:

The portfolio-alert email: 'I just made 3 trades', with buys and sells grouped under Core altcoins and Aggressive altcoins, each with size, dollar value and time.

How to control it (about 10 seconds)

If you're a member, there's nothing to set up — it's already on. To see it, or to turn it off:

  • Step 1 — log in and open your Profile.
  • Step 2 — find the "Your emails" panel. Every email I ever send you lives there.
  • Step 3 — the Portfolio alerts switch. Amber = on. Tap it off any time; tap it back on any time.
The 'Your emails' panel on the profile page: Weekly email toggle, Portfolio alerts toggle, and the Coin alerts picker — each its own card with an on/off switch.

Your profile is now one control panel

While building this, I rebuilt the profile page around a simple idea: everything I might email you should be one switch, in one place.

  • Weekly email — the letter. On or off, one tap. No more hunting for an unsubscribe link.
  • Portfolio alerts — this new one. My trades, the day they happen.
  • Coin alerts— pick coins to watch; I email you when a coin's researched supply outlook changes. Full write-up here.

You decide what reaches your inbox. Turn everything off and stay a member — the site still works. Turn everything on and you'll still get at most a couple of emails a week. That's the deal.

This one is members-only — it's the closest thing this site has to sitting next to me while I trade. See the plans →

One honest note

The email can arrive up to a day after the trade — it's a daily digest by design, because one calm email beats five pings. And these are my own positions, shared for transparency — not a signal to copy. I've been wrong before and I'll be wrong again; the email tells you what I did, and the research tells you why. Read the why.
